DACS Volunteer counsellors

We are very proud of and value highly our volunteer counsellors who help us to provide counselling services to Warwickshire. Our volunteers are the very backbone of our organisation.

While we are well aware that volunteer counsellors are valuable to this charity and help in our ability to provide a countywide service we are only in a position to recruit, train and comprehesively support our volunteer counsellors when sufficient financial and human resources are available.

We regret that we are not recruiting at the moment.

The necessary qualifications to become a DACS volunteer Counsellor are:-

Diploma Qualified or 'final year' Diploma students.

Qualified counsellors.

Qualified counsellors working towards BACP accreditation.

We offer a 5 day intensive training program.

Free monthly one to one supervision.

Quarterly group supervision.

Mentor support.

College placement support.

Regular Internal training.

External training events.
